After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Atkins, Hector was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Danville Little Johns as Hector made off with a 12-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven contests by eight runs or more so far this season.
Sarena Myers was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
