The Cromwell Cardinals can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Two Harbors 61-23 at home. Given Cromwell's advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Agates are ranked 340th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Isabella Anderson was her usual excellent self, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and five steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Siiena Anderson, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Cromwell is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Two Harbors, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.
Cromwell and the Bluestreaks will face off at 7:15 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Two Harbors, they will head out on the road to take on the Bombers at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Barnum has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
