After flying high against the Premont Cowboys on Tuesday, the San Isidro Tigers came back down to earth. San Isidro took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Freer on Thursday. San Isidro lost against Freer in their previous head to head back in December of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 59-47 score last time.
Ayden Ramirez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Freer, scoring 25 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Borden, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and eight assists.
San Isidro's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 5-8. As for Freer, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Jourdanton the next time they take the court. San Isidro will head out to face Jourdanton at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Freer will head out to face them at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
