Reid Giles Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Rabun County's Reid Giles, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Giles rushed for 151 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries, and also picked up 37 receiving yards. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.
Rabun County now has a winning record of 2-1. Giles and Rabun County will host Bremen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Hampton Johnson Goes Supernova in Athens Academy Win
Hampton Johnson posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 145 yards and two touchdowns on only ten passes. His longest rush was for an impressive 51 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The victory for Athens Academy keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. Johnson and Athens Academy will have plenty of time to enjoy the win as they don't play again for a while. They'll take on Commerce at 7:30 p.m. on September 20th.

Michael Miller Puts an End to Providence Christian Academy's Losing Streak on Friday
Providence Christian Academy's four-game losing streak dating back to last season on Friday is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Michael Miller. Miller was dynamite, rushing for 132 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries.
Providence Christian Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. Miller and Providence Christian Academy will have plenty of time to enjoy the victory as they don't play again for a while. They'll take on Rabun County at 7:30 p.m. on September 27th.

Keeping Miller company is Telley Anthony, a fellow Providence Christian Academy player. He rushed for 206 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.4 yards per carry.
