The Carmichaels Mighty Mikes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They took a 64-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Frazier. Carmichaels was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Frazier apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Frazier to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brennen Stewart, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Dailan Mcmanus, who scored 16 points.
Carmichaels has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Frazier, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carmichaels will take on Fort Cherry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fort Cherry presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Carmichaels in Pennsylvania (Fort Cherry is ranked 343rd, while Carmichaels is ranked 727th). As for Frazier, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Burgettstown at 7:00 p.m. Burgettstown is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
