Princeton has gone 9-1 against Spring Creek recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Princeton Bulldogs are taking a road trip to square off against the Spring Creek Gators at 7:30 p.m. Princeton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.1 points per game this season.
Princeton is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-44 heartbreaker at the hands of North Johnston. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 14-10 in the first quarter.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Evan Pate, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 16 rebounds. Those 11 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Lane, who posted 13 points.
Even though they lost, Princeton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Johnston only pulled down seven offensive boards.
Meanwhile, Spring Creek lost to Beddingfield on the road by a 72-57 margin on Tuesday. The Gators haven't had much luck with the Bruins recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Like Princeton, Spring Creek lost despite seeing results from several players. Nathan Jackson led the charge by going 8 of 19 on his way to 20 points. Another player making a difference was Brennan Chambers, who earned 13 points along with five boards and three steals.
Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Spring Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Princeton has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 32.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Spring Creek struggles in that department as they've been averaging 24.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Princeton was able to grind out a solid victory over Spring Creek in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 76-68. Does Princeton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Spring Creek turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
