III Section VI recap September 4, 2013
Scottie Jordan of Phoenix Christian ran for the longest rushing play in III Section VI this season against Antelope last week. Jordan's team topped the Rams as he sprinted for 74 yards on the play and finished with 203 in all.
Emanuel Gant and Sebastian Watkins provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Maricopa. The connection went for 74 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.
Tempe's dynamic duo of Gant and Massiah Smith proved to be unstoppable against the Rams, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Gant threw for 322 yards and Smith had 170 yards receiving. Watkins helped Tempe's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 98 yards.

Smith was the best receiver in the league this week as Tempe beat Cory Nenaber's team.
He was 15-31 with 2 interceptions.
Jordan was the best running back in III Section VI this week. Matthew Hocking also contributed to the rushing game with 22 yards on the ground.
