Softball Recap: Ouachita Sets Scoring Season-High Against Fordyce

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ouachita). They never let the Fordyce Redbugs get on the board and left with a 26-0 win on Tuesday. The Warriors have beaten the Redbugs the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Redbugs has come to flipping the script.

Haley Eudy was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, eight RBI, and three runs. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Mylee Crow was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs.

Ouachita always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .775. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Ouachita's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Fordyce, their loss was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Coming up, Ouachita will face off against Spring Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fordyce does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
