Bowie's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cruz Tello, who threw for 144 yards and five touchdowns. Rhys Moreno helped Tello out on the ground, rushing for 89 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
Bowie wouldn't let Manor keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Joaquin Tijerina, Sean Dougherty, and Nikhil Chaku picked up one apiece. Tijerina's also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making five total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
