Fuchs Mizrachi came out on top against HEARTS for Jesus Christ by a score of 42-30. Winning may never get old, but Fuchs Mizrachi sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
When it comes to explaining why HEARTS for Jesus Christ lost, one person who can't be blamed is Maria Cottenden. Despite the final result, she scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The contest was Cottenden's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Thompson, who scored three points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Fuchs Mizrachi's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for HEARTS for Jesus Christ, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-3.
Fuchs Mizrachi will take on Wickliffe at 6:30 a.m. on Monday. As for HEARTS for Jesus Christ, they will head out on the road to face off against Christian Community at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
