It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Springwood Wildcats ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They snuck past Lakeside School with a 59-55 victory. The win was nothing new for Springwood as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Micah Thomas continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with eight steals and six assists. The matchup was his tenth in a row with at least ten points. Daniel Westbrook was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds.
Springwood pushed their record up to 9-1 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Lakeside School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
