After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Buckeye, the Youngker Roughriders were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They strolled past Glendale with points to spare, taking the game 42-23. That's another feather in the cap for Youngker, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Ashlee Gonzalez was her usual excellent self, scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds and seven steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Jazmine Ramirez was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Youngker now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Glendale, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Youngker will be playing in front of their home fans against Kofa at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kofa is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games. As for Glendale, they will head out on the road to take on Copper Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
