Spring Valley lost to Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran back in November of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Spring Valley Cardinals walked away with a 43-32 win over the Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran Lancers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Spring Valley's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spring Valley will be home for the holidays to greet Colfax at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Colfax knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Spring Valley likes a good challenge. As for Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Eleva-Strum at 7:15 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
