The Georgetown Bulldogs pushed their score all the way to 56 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a  70-56 bruising from Loris. Georgetown has struggled against the Lions recently, as their  contest on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
 Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Ean Mitchell, who  scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Mitchell has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Ty Stanley, who  scored 17 points along with eight  rebounds.
 Georgetown now  has a losing record at 11-12. As for Loris, the  victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 18-5.
 Georgetown will be playing at home against the Blue Jackets at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. Aynor is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a seven-game streak of away losses. As for Loris, they will head out on the road to  face off against  the Monarchs at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday.
