Given Palm Beach Gardens' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 37th, while Dwyer is ranked 149th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kyana Poitier continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds. The contest was her 16th in a row with at least ten points. Alicia Russell was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Palm Beach Gardens' win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2. As for Dwyer, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
