In what's become a running theme this season, the Northside Christian Academy Crusaders gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Thomas Sumter Academy 62-33 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Northside Christian Academy.
Leading Northside Christian Academy to victory were Campbell Childers and Natalie Walke. Childers scored 17 points along with five assists and five steals, while Walke dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kaleigh Howell, who scored 12 points.
Northside Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Thomas Sumter Academy, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-6.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Palmetto Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Northside Christian Academy will head out to face the at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Generals will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
