After four games on the road, Mountain View is heading back home. They will take on the Kuna Kavemen at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
On Tuesday, Mountain View ended up a good deal behind Eagle and lost 54-40. While losing is never fun, Mountain View can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while Eagle is ranked 12th).
Kuna suffered their biggest loss since December 14, 2023 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 57-28 loss at the hands of Middleton. Kuna has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Mountain View dropped their record down to 2-16 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Kuna, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.
Mountain View skirted past Kuna 29-27 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Does Mountain View have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kuna turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
