Taylorsville came out on top against Murray on Friday thanks in part to Brex Romney's efforts. Romney was dynamite, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Taylorsville's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 4-11 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Romney and Taylorsville will head out on the road to face off against Cyprus at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long.
