After losing to the Marie Philip Galloping Ghosts the last time they met, Boston University Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Boston University Academy walked away with a 43-32 win over Marie Philip on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Boston University Academy.
Several Galloping Ghosts players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Stella Ciulla, who scored 16 points along with 4 steals. The matchup was Ciulla's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Valerie Salgado, who scored 7 points along with 10 rebounds.
Boston University Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Marie Philip, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.
Boston University Academy will be playing at home against Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Marie Philip, they will face off against Katzenbach School for the Deaf at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
