Harriman's rough 70-47 loss to Roane County might stick with them for a while. Harriman has struggled against Roane County recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Harriman's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lexi Rose, who scored 15 points along with 3 steals. Rose is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ansley Moore, who scored 13 points.
Harriman's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Roane County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-3.
Harriman will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Oliver Springs at 6:30 p.m. As for Roane County, they will head out on the road to face off against Lenoir City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
