Last Friday, Osbourn Park came up short against Battlefield and fell 58-47. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Osbourn Park in their matchups with Battlefield: they've now lost eight in a row.
Meanwhile, Unity Reed scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 73-40 victory over Park View. That looming 73-40 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Unity Reed yet this season.
Unity Reed relied on the efforts of Charles Pargo, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and three steals, and Julian Shahateet, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Pargo has scored at least 25% of Unity Reed's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Russell Robinson, who scored 14 points.
Osbourn Park's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for Unity Reed, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.
