The Lexington Wildcats had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against White Knoll by a score of 51-40. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lexington also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Lexington found their leader in underclassman Sydni Anderson, who scored 19 points along with two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Anderson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Cuttino, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Lexington now has a winning record of 8-7. As for White Knoll, their loss was their eighth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 5-16.
Lexington won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Aiken at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. Aiken is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games. As for White Knoll, they will head out on the road to challenge Chapin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Chapin is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
