After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Vista Ridge, Rampart was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 17-3 victory over the Liberty Lancers. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Rampart didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Solomon Giles and Kingstin Trujillo Mahar. Rampart received some extra help from Giles, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Rampart's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-6. As for Liberty, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Rampart didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 51-6 defeat against Palmer Ridge on the 24th. As for Liberty, they have also already played their next matchup, a 63-12 loss against Durango on the 24th.
