Clover Hill won the last time they faced L.C. Bird and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cavaliers' defense stepped up to hand the Skyhawks an 8-0 shutout. Considering Clover Hill have won four matches by more than five goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Clover Hill has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-7-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for L.C. Bird, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12-1 record this season.
