The Constitution Generals entered their tilt with Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Constitution walked away with a 90-79 victory over Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Kyree Latimer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 7-for-11 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 40 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Perry Fields, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech still got an impressive performance from Jarrell Little, who scored 30 points. Zachary Campbell was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Constitution pushed their record up to 13-4 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 84.7 points per game. As for Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech, their loss ended a 13-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Constitution will take on Abraham Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Abraham Lincoln will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 299th, while Constitution is ranked 37th). As for Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech, they will be playing at home against Overbrook at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
