The Providence Lions lost against the Plumas Charter Warriors back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Providence was outmatched by Plumas Charter on the road and fell 84-49. Providence has not had much luck with Plumas Charter recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Dalton Bentz continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Plumas Charter, scoring 30 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that Bentz posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Braden Harris, who scored 18 points along with four steals.
Providence's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Plumas Charter, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Providence will challenge Princeton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Princeton is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games. As for Plumas Charter, they will head out on the road to square off against Big Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
