Cherryville lost against West Lincoln back in August of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. The Ironmen took a  blow against the Rebels, falling  51-20. While the Ironmen had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Rebels  6-0.
 Cherryville's loss  came despite strong showings from  Jackson Heavner and  Javarius McElhaney.  Heavner rushed for 111 yards and one  score on only 13 carries, while  McElhaney rushed for 70 yards and one  TD.
  Tj Stradford was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 142 yards on only ten carries for West Lincoln. Stradford's longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Cherryville has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record  this season. As for West Lincoln,  the  victory  got them back to even at 3-3.
