Ash Fork/Seligman hasn't had much luck against Williams recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Spartans will host the Vikings at 3:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Ash Fork/Seligman is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Fredonia 20-1 on Friday. The Spartans have beaten the Lynx the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Lynx has come to flipping the script.
Miclo Ayala made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. Ash Fork/Seligman is 2-1 when Ayala posts two or more runs, but 1-4 otherwise.

In other batting news, D. J. Godinez was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three doubles. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jesus Trujillo, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Ash Fork/Seligman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .853. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Williams got the win against Red Mesa on Saturday by a conclusive 20-3. With that victory, the Vikings brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.
The team relied heavily on Jace Maebe, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and three doubles. Jack Dent was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Ash Fork/Seligman's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Williams, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Ash Fork/Seligman has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 8.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Williams struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Ash Fork/Seligman might still be hurting after the 20-1 loss they got from Williams in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Will the Spartans have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
