Burlington won the last time they faced Genoa-Hugo/Karval and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cougars came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Lynzee Neal paced Burlington's offense, picking up 11 kills. Neal got some help from Rayvonn Holmes and her 16 assists.

Burlington's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Genoa-Hugo/Karval, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
