Pleasant Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Pocono Mountain West 20-11 on Tuesday. The Bears not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 22, 2024 (when they won 12-0).

Braydon Green was incredible, going 3-for-5 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Jacob George was another key player, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Pleasant Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 21 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 2.7 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 9.4.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last game, East Stroudsburg South made sure to put some runs up on the board against Notre Dame on Wednesday. The Cavaliers put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 15-2 victory. The Cavaliers have beaten the Spartans the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Spartans has come to flipping the script.
The team relied heavily on Aidan Cruz, who went 4-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of James Ebbe, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
East Stroudsburg South's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Pleasant Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.
