Lutheran's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lalo Gonzales led the charge by scoring 18 points along with six steals. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for Gonzales. Hunter Caldwell was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with five rebounds.

Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the pair are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Lutheran hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 69.4 points per game. However, it's not like Colorado Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 62.3 points per game. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Lutheran strolled past Colorado Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a score of 54-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lutheran since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
