Wade Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against the Hope Academy Trojan Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
Wade Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher back in November after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by City of Life Christian Academy 77-19.
Meanwhile, Hope Academy came tearing into Friday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 87-51 win over Haines City on the road. Considering Hope Academy has won seven matches by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Nathaniel Boyer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and 2 assists. The match was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dwayne Foreman III, who scored 17 points along with seven assists and five steals.
Wade Christian Academy's defeat was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-1. As for Hope Academy, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.
Wade Christian Academy strolled past Hope Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 by a score of 80-61. Will Wade Christian Academy repeat their success, or does Hope Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
