Casa Roble had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Cassandra Alvarez tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Emily Gomez was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Elizabeth Seidel was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
