Lawrenceville School suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after defeating Peddie. The Big Red had been ranked 16th, but fell to 103.
Blair Academy extended the longest winning streak in Mid-Atlantic Prep this week by beating Mercersburg Academy, 38-12. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Bucs.
Lawrenceville School's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Big Red feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Randall West has thrown for 1190 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Grayson Helm has 12 catches for 214 yards. West also leads the league in rushing with 218 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Lawrenceville School takes on Hun. Danny O'Dea's team's offense has scored 131 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Raiders have allowed only 72 on the year.
A big matchup in Mid-Atlantic Prep this week will be when Hun takes on the Big Red. As it stands, Dave Dudeck's team is in third, while Lawrenceville School is in second.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Raiders take on the Big Red. Hun has allowed 72 points this season, while Lawrenceville School has given up 110. The Raiders allowed 7 points last week as they beat Hill School.
The Blue Storm moved up to 32 from 344 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Mercersburg Academy climbed the ranks as a result of losing to Blair Academy 38-12.
