The Pacific Indians are taking a road trip to square off against the Farmington Knights at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Pacific had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt New Haven on Monday. The Indians' pitcher stepped up to hand the Shamrocks a 10-0 shutout. The victory was familiar territory for the Indians, who have now won four matches in a row.
Not much got past Lucas Dorher, who gave up just three hits and racked up seven Ks to keep New Haven off the board.

On the hitting side, Colton Kossuth was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Gavin Lane also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Farmington was not the first on the board last Tuesday, but they got there more often. They were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over Lutheran. Considering the Knights have won three games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Arthur Robbins looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits.
At the plate, Aiden Redmond and Tatem Tinsley did most of the damage at the plate: Redmond went 3-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double, while Tinsley scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Rice, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Farmington always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .550. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Farmington now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Pacific, their record is now 4-1.
Pacific took their win against Farmington in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 14-7 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
