Connor Lueker's Big Game Leads Round Valley over Ganado
Starting off the list is Round Valley's Connor Lueker, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Lueker rushed for 149 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries, and also threw for 60 yards and two touchdowns. Those 149 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Round Valley is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Lueker and Round Valley will square off against Fountain Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Fountain Hills was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Sam Barnard did his best to prevent it. Barnard turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 162 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Fountain Hills is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7. Barnard and Fountain Hills will square off against Round Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Kyle Clark Leads Round Valley over Ganado
On Friday, Round Valley got the W thanks in part to Kyle Clark playing the best football he has all season. Clark rushed for 98 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making three total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending a pass.
If history really does repeat itself, Clark might just drop another big game when he faces off against Fountain Hills on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Clark saw the Falcons), he rushed for 97 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 31 receiving yards.

Jonny Mcanerny Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Jonny McAnerny posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He forced a fumble and made ten total tackles (2.0 for loss). He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 66 yards.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Payson, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. McAnerny and Payson will head out on the road to take on Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Show Low was led to victory by Alexander Anderson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Anderson rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Show Low's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5. Anderson and Show Low will head out to face off against Blue Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
