The Leland Cubs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a rough 57-32 defeat at the hands of Riverside. Leland has not had much luck with Riverside recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Otis Williams, who scored 12 points along with 5 assists. Jordan Wilson was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 10 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Leland's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Riverside, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leland won't have much time to rest: their next game is against North Side at 6:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Riverside's road trip will continue as they head out to face St. Joseph at 7:15 p.m. on December 7th.
