After both having extra time off, the St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors and the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion will dust off their jerseys to  take on  one another  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for St. Thomas More Academy and five for Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill.

 Despite the  defeat, St. Thomas More Academy had strong showings from  Adella Dehring, who  posted eight points along with seven  rebounds and six  steals, and  Winnie Dehring, who  earned nine points in addition to seven  boards and six  steals. Adella is trending in the right direction considering she's  improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Maire Kelly, who  put up four  points and three  steals.
 Meanwhile, Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill ended up a good deal behind Wake Christian Academy last Friday and lost  45-30.
 Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for St. Thomas More Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
