It's become expected that Bolivar will be crowned Central Ozark Conference Class 3 champion year-in-and-year-out. At least that's the way it's played out the past five years.
With a 24-6 win over Marshfield, the Liberators have sealed the deal again this year. Now with a victory over Reeds Spring a week from Friday, Bolivar can secure its fifth straight conference championship, outright.
Nelson's Five Touchdown Receptions Lead St. Joseph Christian
Adam Nelson caught six passes, Friday, in a 62-30 win over Stewartsville. Five of them went for touchdowns.
"Whatever they throw, I try to catch," Nelson told the St. Joseph News-Press. "That was what we needed to run to score, it just worked into our offense like that."

Volleyball: Barlow scores nine aces in win
Kelsey Barlow was credited with all 25 service points in New Salem's opening-game 25-0 win over St. Louis Christian.
Barlow, whose team went on to get the sweep with a 25-10 second-game win, scored nine aces during the first-game triumph.
Reinagel pitches Notre Dame to 23rd straight win this season
Notre Dame upped its record to 23-0 with a 14-0 win over St. Genevieve in an opening-round win during the Class 3 District 2 softball tournament. Lauren Reinagel paced the Bulldogs with her fourth no-hitter in five games.
"She's throwing tremendously well right now," Notre Dame head coach Jeff Graviett told the Southeast Missourian.
