Meanwhile, Portsmouth Christian won against Walsingham Academy on Tuesday with 43 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Portsmouth Christian came out on top against Peninsula Catholic by a score of 43-32. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.
Portsmouth Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jenna Patrick led the charge by scoring 12 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. Patrick has been hot , having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlynn Morton, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
