Asheboro will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Northwood at 7:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 7-50, which was the final score in Asheboro's tilt against Grimsley last Friday.
Meanwhile, everything went Northwood's way against Jordan-Matthews last week as they made off with a 43-13 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-6.
Northwood's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Asheboro's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Northwood can add another positive mark to their record or if Asheboro can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Northwood's step.
