Martinsville Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to AJ Reynolds
Martinsville picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to AJ Reynolds. Reynolds was dynamite, throwing for 327 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 58 yards and two touchdowns.
Martinsville's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Reynolds and Martinsville will head out on the road to square off against Mooresville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Bo Polston Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Decatur Central got the W thanks in part to Bo Polston playing the best football he has all season. Polston threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 69 yards and two touchdowns. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 60 yards.
It'll be Battle of the Birds when Hawks faces off against Perry Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Polston will face off against Allen Zupan, the Falcons' star QB. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Big Game from Leugers As Franklin Community Fell 34-13
While Franklin Community might've come up empty on Friday, Alex Leugers wasn't going down without a fight. Plainfield had no answer to Leugers as he rushed for 175 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.9 yards per carry, and also picked up 64 receiving yards. Leugers got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 95 yards.
If the past is any indication, Leugers could be in store for another big game when he takes on Greenwood on Friday. Leugers rushed for 221 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per carry the last time he and the Woodmen duked it out back in October of 2023.

Kasmir Hicks Makes It Two for Decatur Central
Another Decatur Central player making an appearance on this list is Kasmir Hicks. He made a tackle. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 51 yards.

Luke Starnes Goes Supernova in Plainfield Victory
Luke Starnes's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his seventh-straight game with 113+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Unfortunately for Franklin Community, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Starnes. Starnes rushed for 54 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Grizzly Cubs duked it out back in September of 2023.
