The University Cougars won against the Tohopekaliga Tigers on Friday with 38 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. University walked away with a 38-31 victory over Tohopekaliga. The victory made it back-to-back wins for University.
University found their leader in underclassman Haley Caldwell , who scored 14 points. Caldwell continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Jasmine Fajardo was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
University's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Tohopekaliga, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
University will head out on the road to face off against Oviedo at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Oviedo is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Tohopekaliga, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lake Buena Vista at 6:00 p.m.
