Aquinas was led to victory by Eli Hutchinson and Zion Allen. Hutchinson rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, while Allen rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Hutchinson also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception. Aquinas also got help from Jack Rhodes, who showed off his sure hands for 88 receiving yards.
Cross Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Aquinas, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.
Cross Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Aquinas, they will face off against Holy Innocents Episcopal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
