Davis came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Walters Blue Devils a 6-0 shutout. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Davis' victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Walters, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-6 record.
