It was a good run, but Blackhawk unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beaver Bobcats. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Blackhawk got a good showing from Elijah White, who pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Carter Davis was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season. Connor Welsh was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.
