Hawkins entered their tilt with Union Grove on Tuesday with 11 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 12. They strolled past the Union Grove Lions with points to spare, taking the game 67-48. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-42 back in December of 2024.

Union Grove's loss came despite strong showings from Cason Cowan and Jace Roberts. Cowan went 5 for 12 en route to 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals, while Roberts went 5 of 12 on his way to 15 points and seven boards. Cowan is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Wrigley Roberts, who posted eight points.
Hawkins has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 24-2 record this season. As for Union Grove, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-13.
