The Trego Golden Eagles will be playing at home against the Hodgeman County Longhorns at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Meanwhile, Hodgeman County took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They claimed a resounding 60-14 win over Deerfield at home. With Hodgeman County ahead 40-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Hodgeman County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mallorie Ruff, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Casey Schaffer was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Trego's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Hodgeman County, their win bumped their record up to an identical 1-0.
Trego came up short against Hodgeman County in their previous meeting back in December of 2021, falling 41-37. Thankfully for Trego, Malynn Beil (who scored 16 points along with 3 steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
