Lamar had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 41-27 victory over the Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-31 on January 3rd.

Lamar's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Blake Hart led the charge by going 6 of 14 on her way to 14 points and five boards. Hart has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Addison McKee was another key player, putting up four points and seven steals.

Lamar's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-10. As for Park Place Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.
