Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lafayette Central Catholic). They blew past the Caston Comets 24-7 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Lafayette Central Catholic's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Caston, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-6.

Lafayette Central Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-0 victory against Attica on the 7th. As for Caston, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Oregon-Davis on the 8th.
